In a dream of moonlight
I cast my sight
To see the day
While here i stay
I am but a simple man
Doing what i can
To watch the shadows roll
As the hours take their toll
And each time the clock strikes one
I know the demons came to their fun
For every moment within this hell
I know my soul is never well
I Stand upon the morning shore
breathing away my sorrow for more
Though a smile I reap
And a grin i'll keep
Had I one chance to dream
I would not resew the seam
Deftly my fingers may dance
Sweeping into soft romance
So call my name
My soul so tame
To hold your fire
and soft desire
Until the day i die
